有次問外國同事：要不要來杯咖啡？
外國同事回答說：You bet！
What？ You bet ！？？？
我想著：bet是「打賭」
難道她是讓我猜嗎？
還有一次外國同事給我點了個外賣，
我說了句：Thank you.
外國同事笑著說：
You bet！
這個You bet到底什麼意思啊？
跟我的問題一樣，
因為bet有」打賭「的意思，
所以，很多人以為you bet是：」你打賭， 你猜「
其實， You bet和單獨的bet意思不著邊。
1、You bet！
You bet有兩方面的意思：
第一個意思是：
You bet： 當然啦
和」Certainly「，「Of course「， 」For sure」，「Definitely」差不多。
比如，
-I feel unwell. Can I leave earlier？
我有點不舒服。 我可以早點走嗎？
-You bet！ 當然啦！
-Do you want to join us？
你想加入我們嗎？
-You bet！ I can‘t wait.
當然啦！我都迫不及待了。
You bet第二個意思是：
You bet： 不用謝， 沒關系。
相當于You‘re welcome. Not at all等等。
Thank you for you help.
You bet. 沒關系。
I really appreciate it. 非常感謝。
